How to Measure French Doors
For French doors, shades are typically mounted directly on the door to cover the glass panels.
Step 1: Measure Width (① / ② / ③) Measure the width of the glass in three places (top, middle, and bottom). Record the longest measurement.
Step 2: Measure Height (④ / ⑤ / ⑥) Measure the height of the glass in three places (left, middle, and right). Record the longest measurement.
Calculations for Your Order: To ensure optimal light blocking and full privacy coverage, extra overlap is required.
- Order Width = Longest Width + 2.5 inches
- Order Height = Longest Height + 5 inches
