"Initial Preparation?"
1. Activate the motor switch. For safety, motors are deactivated before shipping. Upon receipt, charge for ≥30 minutes to ensure adequate power.
2.Motor pairing. Motors come pre-paired with remotes—simply select the channel (single-channel remotes skip this step).
3.Limit adjustment. Note: Avoid adjusting limits for zebra, woven wood, or cellular shades to prevent fabric misalignment. Refer to the manual if needed.
4.Smart pairing. Complete this pre-installation, especially for high windows. For Matter/Thread motors, photograph the QR code first.
5.Installation. Mark bracket positions, drill, and secure with screws. Level carefully to avoid uneven fabric. Snap blinds into spring brackets to finish.
Smart Motor
“Where can I find the QR Code?”
For Matter Over Thread motors, the QR code is typically located on the motor cable.
“How can I charge the blinds?”
The motor supports in-situ charging via the included USB-A to USB-C cable or an optional solar panel.
“What do the green/red lights on the charger mean?”
1.The LED flashes red during shade operation (open/close) or when the battery is low.
2.The LED stays red while the motor is charging.
3.The LED turns green once the battery exceeds 90% charge.
"Which Alexa devices are compatible with the Alexa motor?"
Echo Plus 2nd Gen, Echo Show 2nd Gen, Echo Studio, Echo Show 10, Echo 4th Gen, Echo Show 8 (3rd gen), New Echo Wall Hub, Echo Show 15 (2nd Gen), Echo Show 21 (Confirm that the spec of the Echo has a built-in Zigbee module. Note: Although Echo Show 5, Echo Show 8, and Echo Dot look like to the above devices, they are incompatible).
"Can I add a shade control Widget on my Apple devices?"
Yes. The prerequisite is that you have Smart Link Pro. To enable the shade control Widget on your Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch), please follow these steps:
First, add your shades to the Connector app that works with Smart Link Pro.
Then, link the Connector to a third-party platform such as SmartThings or Alexa.
After that, you can add the Widget on your Apple device for quick and convenient control.
“Can the battery be overcharge the battery by leaving the charger on too long?”
No. Both the motor and battery feature built-in overcharge protection, preventing overcharging even when left plugged in.
“How often should I charge for the battery?”
A full charge takes 5-6 hours, providing enough power for ~600 cycles (around 6 months of normal use).
*Note: Battery capacity naturally declines with age. After 5-6 years, performance remains strong, typically retaining ~90% of its original capacity.*
Programming
“What is channel 0 for?”
– 15-channel remote: Includes Channel 0 (group mode) to control all blinds simultaneously.
– 1-channel remote: Controls a single blind only (no group mode available).
“What is the difference between the 1 channel and 15 channel remote?”
–1-channel remote: Controls a single blind exclusively.
–15-channel remote: Manages up to 15 blinds collectively (group mode) or individually by selecting specific channels.
“Do I need a remote to program my blinds?”
Our blinds come pre-paired with their remote controls. If you add new blinds without purchasing additional remotes, you’ll need to pair them with your existing remote.
