1. Adhesive Mounting System
Industrial-Strength Adhesive: Uses high-bond, removable adhesives that can hold 5-15 lbs.
– Brackets attach to surfaces via adhesive pads.
– The adhesive forms a molecular bond with the mounting surface when pressed firmly.
– Most can be removed later without residue using a slow, vertical pull.

2. Tension Rod Mechanism
Spring-Loaded Rods: Adjustable rods use internal springs to create outward pressure. APRILSMART uses this method.
– The rod extends slightly wider than the window frame.
– When compressed into place, constant tension keeps it securely suspended.
– No brackets needed—the blind rolls directly onto the tension rod.

3. Magnetic Mounting (Less Common)
Neodymium Magnets: Ultra-strong magnets embedded in brackets.
– One set of magnets attaches to the window frame (often with adhesive).
– The blind's brackets contain opposing magnets that “click” into place.
– Allows for easy removal/repositioning.

Best for: Windows with deep frames or curtain rods already installed.

How it works:
Install the no-drill roller shade inside the window recess using a tension rod.
Keep your curtains on their original rod outside the frame.

2. Outside-Mount (Adhesive Brackets)
Best for: Windows with shallow frames or no recess.

How it works:
Mount the No drill roller shades' adhesive brackets above the window trim (but below the curtain rod).

However, the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including wear and tear, stains, pet damage, exposure to heat, sunlight, wind, water or moisture, and discoloration, fading or slight deformation of materials over time.

Dust Regularly

Spot Cleaning
Dampen a clean, soft cloth and gently blot the affected area. Avoid rubbing, as this can damage the fabric. After cleaning, use a dry cloth to remove any moisture immediately. Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area first.

Vacuum Care
For deeper cleaning, use your vacuum's upholstery attachment with soft bristles. This method is particularly effective for removing embedded dust and pet hair. Move the attachment in straight, vertical motions to avoid damaging the rolling mechanism.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals
Never use bleach, ammonia, or abrasive cleaners on your shades. These chemicals can discolor the fabric, weaken adhesive mounts, and damage the rolling mechanism. Stick to mild, pH-neutral cleaners specifically designed for window treatments.

Inspect the Mechanism
Regularly check the rolling mechanism and mounting hardware. Ensure the brackets are secure and the shade rolls up and down smoothly. If you notice any stiffness, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the roller.
