However, at night, when the interior lights are on, this is not the case. If the curtains are light filtering, they may not completely block out outside views, especially if the interior is well lit. Someone outside may still be able to see outlines or shapes inside.

For even greater privacy at night, consider using motorized blackout roller shade, or combining light filtering roller shades with other window treatments, such as drapes or valances. This can help ensure your home remains private after dark.

– When cleaning windows, keep curtains fully retracted to prevent accidental contact of curtain fabric with glass cleaner or other chemicals.
– Leave at least 12 inches of space under curtains to avoid placing plants, books or storage items that may interfere with operation.
– Keep pets away from touching or scratching curtain fabric to prevent pulling, snagging or causing structural damage to curtain fabric.
– Keep sharp objects away from curtains to avoid cutting, puncturing or tearing the delicate fabric surface.
– In stormy or windy weather, fully retract exterior shades and do not use until weather conditions improve.

1. Spot Cleaning (For Stains & Spills)
Step 1: Blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth to absorb excess liquid
Step 2: Prepare a mild solution of warm water + 1 drop of dish soap
Step 3: Gently dab (never rub) the stain with a barely damp cloth
Step 4: Air dry completely before operating the blinds

(These may degrade fabrics or harm electronic components)

2. Deep Cleaning (Biannual Maintenance)
For Removable Fabrics:
Detach fabric following manufacturer instructions
Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent
Lay flat to dry – never tumble dry or wring

For Non-Removable Fabrics:
• Spot clean only (see Section 1)
• Professional cleaning recommended for thorough maintenance

Care Tips:
• Always test cleaning solutions on inconspicuous areas first
• Never retract blinds until fabric is completely dry
• Schedule professional servicing every 2 years for motor maintenance

However, the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including wear and tear, stains, pet damage, exposure to heat, sunlight, wind, water or moisture, and discoloration, fading or slight deformation of materials over time.

Failures caused by improper installation and DIY modifications are also not covered by the warranty.
